so long since my last post. haha in that time. i have passed my ssmt, finished all my modules in nie for this sem, started driving lessons, etc. very free and bored these days. haha shall try to do something meaningful i guess. haha.
i think in order to give, one needs to be full. but if you constantly give more than you recieve, you'll eventually end up feeling very empty. sometimes it can be a relationships among friends, family or colleagues, work and projects, they all demand time and attention and other more material matters. and i try my best to give as much as i can. but recently i'm ending up feeling very empty. very drained. i guess i need to find a balance somehow somewhere.
tant pis. i wish i could just say that and be indifferent. tant pis. i meant learn how to. sometimes in life we have to be indifferent towards some events. it just really takes to much energy to hacve an emotion for every single thing that happens. haha.
well right now i am having intensive driving lessons every day. and looking forward to going bali with yaoqi and kelvin. haha. need to destress and take my mind off everything. sounds weird huh. my term has ended and i am stressed. haha but anyone who noes me in nie will know that my modules have hardly any effect on me. haha. with a cool and calm disposition towards essays deadlines and assignments, haha one wonders how i can be stressed about anything else. haha.
haha i've been playing company of heroes more these days. haha. keeping me engaged. and the advice mantou gave me was when i encounter and strongly defended area not to keep attacking head on, but to attack elsewhere. why play into the hands of your opponent rite? i think this applies to everyday life. if life is tough in one area, why spend ur time fighting it. countless hours i have spent battling and fighting and sometimes u ask urself, is it worth it. haha. why not move round and let the matter sort itself out. the question i have to keep asking is "how important is it?"
see this is what free time does to me. sitting at home staring at the ceiling sometimes. haha. keeps u thinking. i guess it aint necessarily a bad thing. haha. i have concluded that some things are just not meant for you to accomplish. and some people deserve to die a slow and painful death and rot in hell for eternity. i think the population in singapore would be reduced if i had the death note book. hahaha. scary thought.
oh well. anyway met up with the band peeps for dinner on sat. been ages since i last hung out with them. haha no one has really changed i think. haha. which is a good thing. i like all of them the way they are. haha. played badminton with lim ting, huang yun and jianping. haha. nice to meet up again after sooooo long. and i cant believe we actually taked about primary school!! counting back i've known huang yun for like 15 YEARS! omg!
should be playing tennis with huili weiting and prof lang this sat. hope the weather holds up. wasnt feeling too good last sat and spent a WASTED afternoon that i would like to forget soon. haha. hope my back holds up. think sometimes i over rotate.
badminton on friday should be good. haha. havent met up with ian gabriel and wx for a bit. haha. still owe wx a treat and promised to grab giang along as well. haha.
ah life is good really. i think everyone has their problems. but the ability to focus on the positives is what makes an effective person. ok 2nd driving lesson tmr. haha. i'm so going to get a car next year. haha. i must. haha.
