hmmm. life is army is getting busier by the day. am assuming the role of acting BC for this month till CNY while my BC is on course. as such, almost everything is falling on my shoulders. it's been quite good so far i guess.pretty good week for me i guess. ran my first soc in 5 years, clocked a time of 08:52 and will never have to take it again. haha. also met up with yaoqi for dinner on wednesday. had this $50 woucher from uob for morton's chicago: the steakhouse. i was really drooling for anticipation the day before. haha. in the end. i can only say i chose the wrong slab of meat. haha. it wasnt bad. just too much and not savory enough. trust me. if you every go somewhere posh, chose the meat of the smallest size. it usually is the best. haha. had a good chat with yaoqi nonetheless. poor guy's been under the fire quite a bit this month.
got home on friday night all reved up and ready to play some games on my comp. came into my room, dumped my bag on the ground, emptied my pockets, and turned on the computer. it started to boot. loaded windows as i changed into singlet and shorts. and then, it turned off by itself. all other attempts to kick start it failed. was too tired to bother, went straight to bed (due to the fact that i've been waking up consistantly for 5bx every morning and not sleeping early).
next morning i sort of guessed that there might be a problem with the psu. went to west mall to get a new one. installed it. still didnt work. dismantled the entire cpu. tested every single device and came to the conclusion that my motherboard was dead. headed over to simlim sq trying to find a new one. didnt have. bought a close relative. came home praying that it wouldnt need a format. it needed one. oh well. formatted my comp again and now have everything set up.
and that's how i spent my weekend. haha. oh played badminton today for 4 hours. tiring but enjoyed almost every bit of it. was a good game. haha been long time since we played like that. perhaps due to wq getting new shoes and finally not slipping and sliding around the court. haha.
DOO on saturday again. tried to volunteer for CNY day 1 but i think people think i'm mad. i really dun like CNY. i think it's lame that i have to go visit people i would not otherwise visit. haha. sometimes i feel like giving them angbaos so that i dun have to visit them. haha.
haha anyway it's back to camp. this week is entirely unarmed combat. haha. should be tiring. haha oh well. ciaoz! oh yes i won the faculty teaching assistant award or something. but in the army cannot go. maybe they revoked it. haha. nitez!
