i've finally submitted my thesis! that spells the end of my life as a graduate student. the past few months have really been fun.
had lunch with sheng xiang and wu liang a while back before i finished my thesis. haven been wanting to blog about this place for a long time now. the restaurant is called qing xiang guan at west coast cc opposite ginza plaza and i think the food there is reasonable. been rather addicted to the shu zhu yang rou.
mostly my favourite dishes (except the ma po tofu which sheng xiang and wu liang agreed was the best dish)
MY favourite dish........ SHUI ZHU YANG ROU 水煮羊肉!
the food in the picture doesnt look that good because we were already halfway through when i remember to take a snap.
anyway, tkm treated me to lunch on my last day at nus. brought me to the guild house for a 3 course lunch at this restaurant there. had some morrocan fish appetiser and some steak thing for the main course. finally had my steak done rare. well to me it was medium rare. but hey. you cant seem to get anything rare here in singapore unless u go to fancy restaurants.
in the evening, had dinner with colleagues from office. haha. they got me the harry potter stamp collection as my parting gift. haha. had a fun time with them at marche. it's such a pity i could not stay longer. would have very much loved to do my masters for another year.
sigh.
anyway now i am back in camp. new camp this time. haha. 47 more weeks till i ord!
