got back from phuket not too long ago. haha. was a really fun filled trip. haha but i went to puket tired and came back even more tired. haha. my original intention was to go to phuket and to enjoy doing nothing (or close to nothing) on the beach. hence my decision to opt for Kata beach instead of Patong. however, as fate would have it. we didnt really have time to do nothing. i'm glad however, that the company was excellent. haha.

a sad thing or rather a stupid thing, was that i lost my oakley's! yes 500 bucks to the sea god, who according to francis might grant me perfect eyesight if i pray hard enough since i gave him such an expensive offering. haha. anyway i was on a banana boat and i sort of expected the boat to capsize. so i was holding on to my specs at the time when it really did. but it didnt help at all. i should have taken them off before the ride. how stupid could i get rite?

anyway that means i gotta make a new pair soon. think wu liang needs to make a pair to so shall go scouting around on friday probably.

tkm is back and he emailed me today. looks like it's time for me to start working on my thesis again. haha. i cant even remember what i studied before this semester!!

anyway wanmei organised a dinner at au petit salut to celebrate my birthday on the 16th. this saturday. and i think they're gonna treat me, as is the trend!! haha. how cool is that. being treated to a restraunt u've wanted to eat at for soooooooo loooonnng. haha. and i think to quote yongquan, "it's hard not be happy around you three" haha. we're just a bunch of nutty tutors. haha.

my korean classmate has already emailed me with the homework for last week and i've to get it done soon. haha. i think i'm sliding in korean class. haha need to buck up.

the year is coming to an end soon. and a new one will begin. every year around the time of my birthday, i'll start to reflect on the events of the past year. this year has been a good one for me. haha. the new friends i've made, the happy times, the struggle through adversity and the eventual success, the company of important people around me, etc, everything i've experienced and learnt from has been very beneficial. all i hope for in the next year is for the company of the same group of close friends, and a chance to show to myself that for whatever mistakes i've made this year, i've learnt from them and will not make them again.

anyway here's me whining again. there are VERY few people, who would come up to me and say "hey nic, this present if for your birthday, and this other one is for Xmas." haha. it sux having your bdae near and xmas. haha i feel quite cheated every year cos i dun get my fair share of presents!!! HAHAHHAHAHA. so to all reading this, you noe what to do, unless i havent given u a bdae present hahahahah.

in the process of editing my pics. haha but here's one for the people who need a pic. this is me in the middle of a bungy jump. yes. after the jump, during the oscillation, before i was let down.

haha bungy jumping... check... now on to skydiving... haha
