woops. been a long while since i last updated. the final push towards the finishing line has just begun. and of course as with most races, it includes a steady gentle upslope. before the climatic finish.
3 weeks left before reading week. 3 more tutorials for me to conduct. i have 2 more presentations to prepare for. thankfully, one of them will determine my final grade (ie no final exam).
one of my prof's has just emerged from the icu. i feel doubly sad because he was a good lecturer and i was slowly starting to enjoy myself during the module even though it was described by many as the most demanding mathematics course in nus. i hope he recovers soon, but more importantly, i hope he recovers well. it's quite traumatic when you hear that your teacher has been admitted to the icu. and espeically troubling when you feel like visiting but dont really know if its appropriate.
i'm at home typing this entry now even though i'm supposed to be preparing for a discussion later on the tutorial for the abovementioned module tomorrow. i guess i really need a little break here and there. it's amazing that i've managed to survive so many semesters taking 7 modules and yet still find this one the most challenging. haha. if you think 7 modules is easy. go ahead and try it when you're in uni. although, somehow, i think there is more pressure for me to perform now than there was in the past. which is rather weird since there is no classification for an MSc compared to an honour degree.
oh yes. i've got a mail saying that all fresh grads are entitled to a complementary suscription to sdu. haha! and it's an opt to NOT join form, meaning that lazy people like myself who hate sending business replies would by default NOT reject admission. haha. well my impression of sdu is still quite primitive. haha modern day matching making agency run by a few mei pos. haha!
well anyway, i'll try to come up with a more brain-ful (as opposed to brainless) entry next time. but for now, it's back to projective modules, noetherian modules and rings, artinian modules and rings etc. take care!
